Personal Learning Networks (PLN) are more than just a list of contacts sitting in your email account. PLN's if administered correctly are a rich ecosystem of content curators, content consumers and collaborators for the good of the group. It is meant to be a purposely built network in which the users maintain, build and activate on each others ideas. I feel like my PLN is my strategy to survive job market chaos. In the past, you might have had one job for life, the new reality is 2 or 3 careers in one lifetime. If I maintain and nurture my PLN by staying curious and deepening connections with others in my field, I always have a Plan B. I have a way to reskill and upskill continuously while society changes rapidly with new technologies like AI.
